THE Sunday volunteer event for Beach Buddies moves inland this weekend with a return to the village of Jurby on Sunday October 5th from 10.30am. Meet in the car park at the Jurby Community Centre. For those keen to go to a beach it’s just across the road at Sartfield. The weather forecast is for 14C, possible slight rain and breezy.
We have started a new sponsorship programme for our 40 bins around the Isle of Man’s coastline. These bins are emptied by Beach Buddies every week and provide a free facility for everyone to leave items they find on our beaches (no domestic or commercial waste accepted).
